摘要
Herein, we report a selective laser melted (SLMed) Al–Cu–Mg–Zr alloy with a good combination of yield strength (363 MPa) and elongation (12.9%) at 150 °C, resulting from the combined effects of the S′ and Ω precipitates. In particular, Ω precipitates were first observed in the SLMed Al–Cu–Mg–Zr alloy, owing to a high dislocation density. The as-obtained tensile properties were comparable to those of the cast and extruded Al–Cu–Mg–Ag alloys and higher than those of wrought 2024-T6, 2219-T62/T851, and 2618-T61 alloys. This study provides a potential strategy for developing new Al alloys with excellent moderate-temperature properties.
