摘要
Brushite flakes are rapidly synthesized on pyrolytic carbon modified carbon fibers (PCF) by pulsed electrodeposition (PED) method. The maximum length of the brushite flakes could reach 63.5 μm in 10 s and 423.7 μm in 20 min. The formation mechanism of the brushite flakes is proposed, identifying the influence of fiber-shaped substrate, surface oxygen-containing functional group and PED preparation method. Moreover, good biomineralization ability of the brushite flakes is confirmed by in-vitro test in simulated body fluid. The brushite flakes prepared by this method has the potential applications as bioactive coatings, biological reinforcements, biological fillers and scaffolds for tissue engineering.
