摘要
With the organic combination of melt supercooling and directional solidification techniques, a new concept of rapid directional solidification excited from supercoded melt has been advanced. In this paper, the experimental method of this new technique is reviewed. The difference between the new and the conventional directional solidification processing is illustrated diagramatically. The latest experimental results are given for Cu-Ni alloy, which indicate the attractive prospects of the new technique.
