摘要
A series of macroporous poly (styrene-divinylbenzene) resins applied to perfusion chromatography were prepared by suspension polymerization in the presence of polypropylene glycol (PPG) and heptane as coporogen. The pore structure and morphology of the macroporous resins were characterized with scanning electron microscopy and mercury intrusion porosimetry. The effects of crosslinking degree, mass ratio of polypropylene glycol to heptane, and relative molecular mass of polypropylene glycol on the development of porosity of the copolymers were discussed. The results show that macro porous polymer microspheres with average pore diameter larger than 1000 nm can be prepared when the coporogen is composed of a certain proportion of PPG and heptane. The research provides a new method for the preparation of macro porous poly (styrene-divinylbenzene) resins applied to perfusion chromatography.
