摘要
CdS-P2O5-Na2S system glass doped with CdS/Ag particles were prepared by a glass method and thermal treated after UV bean irradiation. Structural and morphology characterization by x-ray diffraction (XRD) and high resolution scanning electron microscope (HRSEM) showed that the CdS/Ag particles with diameter 3 μm were grown in glass substrate. The absorption intensity of CdS/Ag particles doped glass was enhanced obviously and 420 nm absorption peak was observed in absorption spectrum and was attributed to the precipitated Ag particles. A mechanism was proposed to explain the induction of Ag particles by UV irradiation. The stability of silver particles was discussed. The size and distribution of the particles can be controlled by the thermal treatment and UV bean irradiation.
