Precise time-integration method for dynamic response of thermo-mechanical coupled problem

摘要

In thermo-mechanical problems, traditional thermal stresses analyses usually consider thermal load as static load or quasi-static load and so the temperature field and the stresses field is uncoupled. When thermal shock is applied on structures, these analyses can cause large error and even lead to disaster. Based on the precise time-integration method, formulations about thermo-mechanical coupled problem in plates were deduced. The heat conduction equations were coupled with the structural deformations by expanding structural deformation into heat conduction equations. The coupled dynamic thermo-mechanical equations are gotten by finite element method. The non-homogeneous vector is viewed as the variables of the equations and the original equations are converted into homogeneous equations by using the dimensional expanding. The quasi-static equations also are treated in the same way. This new algorithm not only benefits to the programming implementation and the numerical stability, but also is more efficient to large-scale problem. The thermal dynamic responses of plates that huge heat flux is applied on its boundary are analyzed. The results of numerical examples agree well with the results of references.
