Optimization of Mars Ascent Vehicle orbit entry based on hp-adaptive pseudospectral method

摘要

For the mission scenario of precise orbit insertion of the Mars surface ascent, the hp-adaptive pseudospectral method is used to optimize the trajectory of the ascent phase. The configuration of the ascent is a two-stage solid-liquid hybrid rocket with four boosters. The terminal orbit is the 500 km circular orbit of the standard mission scenario and the relay orbit where the Mars orbiter is located. The ascent time, residual mass, and actual orbital deviation of the terminal orbit are obtained. The proposed riser configuration can significantly reduce the peak dynamic pressure in the riser. Meanwhile, considering the elliptical orbit entry with the vertical diameter of the ascending node and the argument constraint of the argument of periareon compared with the traditional circular orbit, the ascent can obtain higher orbit entry speed, shorter orbit entry time and better fuel consumption, and the simulation and verification time in the computer is shorter, which is suitable for practical engineering applications.
