Numerical simulation of rotor forward flight flow based on the unstructured dynamic patched grid

摘要

A method of unstructured dynamic patched grid on the basis of linear spring analogy is developed in the present paper, and the unsteady Euler equations are solved to simulate the rotor forward flight flow field. The grid field is separated into two subdomains: the statical area and the rotational area, which patch on the interface. The partial rotational grid is used to simulate the turning motion of the blades, and the wielding and pitching motions are treated by using the linear spring analogy dynamic grid in the rotational area. A better interposal and reconstruction approach is applied to solve the Euler equations and the precision of result is improved due to applying the approach. The results demonstrated that present method can simulate the forward flight flow of rotor effectively.
