abstract = "The calculation formula of reflection and transmission coefficients were derived based on conduction current when the current flows through the formation interface. A method for computing the electromagnetic response of titled antenna based on the finite element simulation software COMSOL multi-physics is studied and applied to calculate the conduction current propagating characteristics to a tilted antenna in uniform formation and two-layer isotropic formation. The reflection and transmission phenomena when current flowing into different conductivity contrast formation interface is analyzed. The simulation results show that tilted transmitter coil can be applied to identify the formation interface. The research result is useful for all kind of electromagnetic wave propagation yield by the tilted antenna.",
