title = "Nanofluidic memristor by room temperature ionic liquid/water mixture in single conical nanochannels",
abstract = "Ionic liquids (ILs) are important green solvents in electrochemistry and energy storage. However, their nanoscale ionic transport behaviors are still ambiguous. Herein, we use the nanofluidic platform conical nanochannels, to investigate the ionic transport behavior of the mixed ionic-liquid/water solution in nanoscale. A hysteretic ionic current was found, which could be used to realize the concept of memristor in a nanofluidic system. The device showed excellent repeatability, high ON/OFF ratio, and long retention time, which made this type of new devices highly valuable for the logic control in the nanofluidic systems.",
