N2 - Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides a new way for research and development of Network Centric Warfare (NCW). We study on the Multi-Agent System (MAS) architecture of formation airplanes air-to-ground attack in NCW. Combat constitute and features of formation air-to-ground attack in NCW were analyzed, and then the characteristics of MAS and its applications were expounded. Finally the MAS architecture was built based on HLA. The command and control system of formation air-to-ground attack was the analyzing focus of this system. The architecture of MAS provides groundwork for further research on formation air-to-ground attack in NCW.
