N2 - In multi-axis milling, establishing accurate machining process model is a key technology to realize intelligent processing of aviation parts. In order to obtain accurate machining process model of aviation complex parts, a method based on morphing technology to structure models of multi-axis roughing process is proposed. Firstly, the theoretical basis for morphing technology is introduced, the mathematical model of three Hermite transfinite interpolation for morphing technology is established, and the process parameters which impact geometry of process model in morphing technology is analyzed; according to the analysis of the process constraint to design the process parameters, and process parameters with constraints is introduced into the morphing technology to construct the process models. A validation is conducted on a class of complex aviation parts. The example shows that the method is able to structure process models of complex structure parts for multi-axis rough machining under the condition of controlling the machining allowance, and also can shorten the total processing time of the parts, to a certain extent, the processing efficiency is improved.
