Microstructure and dielectric properties of textured SrTiO3 ceramics

摘要

Textured SrTiO3 ceramics were prepared by reactive template grain growth (RTGG) technique combined with tape-casting process, in which plate-like particles of SrTiO3 (ST) were used as templates and Bi2O3 doped SrTiO3 particles prepared by solid state reaction method were used as matrix. The effect of sintering process parameters on the microstructures and dielectric properties of textured SrTiO3 ceramics were investigated. The results show that the orientation of the grain grew along (100) plane in textured SrTiO3 ceramics. The texture fraction increased with increasing the sintering temperatures and the soaking times. Textured SrTiO3 ceramics with the maximum orientation degree of 0.56 were achieved after sintering at 1550°C for 16 h. The dielectric constant increased with increasing the texture fraction and showed anisotropic dielectric properties at the directions perpendicular and parallel to the tape-casting.
