Magnetic nanorods/carbon fibers heterostructures coated with flower-like MoS2 layers for superior microwave absorption

摘要

Carbon fiber core-shell materials with three-dimensional structures have been proven to be electromagnetic wave absorbing materials with excellent performance. Although research on composite material structural frameworks is still in a state of limited understanding, their attractive results have been widely recognized. In this work, Mil88 A magnetic nanoparticles were implanted into carbon fibers (CF) and composite with transition metal sulfides to prepare flower-shaped MoS2 coated carbon fibers/Mil88 A core-shell nanorods with adjustable microwave absorption. The introduction of Mil88 A and its attachment to the MoS2 shell. Through the synergistic effect of the three, the dielectric loss is increased, and the polarization relaxation process is enhanced, thereby improving the impedance matching and optimizing the material's performance. After testing, when the thickness is only 2.5 mm, The minimum reflection loss of the obtained CF-Mil88 A@MoS2 (CMM) reaches −70 dB, and the effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) reaches 4.68 GHz.
