Investigation of the gurson damage by using the indentation fatigue tests

摘要

Based on Gurson's model, analysis of finite deform plastically damage for specimen has been analyzed in powder metalurgy alloys including void. Special attentions have been paid on the influence of the location and shape as well as size of the void on the void nucleation, enlargement and stress redistributing. It has been found that the influence is quite obvious. It can be concluded that the life of the powder metallurgy alloys was also influenced by the above void information aforementioned. The FE results showd that the depth of the void strongly influenced the damage. The damage induced by the void near the surface was the main reason leading to failure of the powder metallurgy alloys.
