摘要

Ba1-xEuxTiO3 (x = 0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06) phosphor materials were prepared by mixed oxide solid-state sintering method. Different characterization methods were used to analyze the phosphor samples such as PXRD, SEM–EDX, UV–visible, Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy. PXRD datasets revealed that the phosphors crystallized by tetragonal with single phase. The addition of Eu3+ ion influence on the grain size and energy band gap were found to decrease revealed by SEM images and UV–Visible spectra, respectively. Raman spectroscopy provided useful information on the presence of tetragonal symmetry. Charge density distribution study revealed the chemical bonding nature between the constituent ions in the unit cell. Photoluminescence (PL) measurements showed that the excitation intensity gradually increased with addition of Eu3+ ions. As a result, broad red emission in the wavelength around 615 nm due to the f–f transition of 5D07F2 due to Eu3+ ions. The incorporation of Eu3+ ions in Ba0.94Eu0.06TiO3 phosphor was found to observe good and higher emission intensity. In addition, the thermal stability studies were demonstrated the Ba0.94Eu0.06TiO3 phosphor has good PL property. This phosphor may suitable for lighting applications.
