Improving reliability of reputation model for open semantic web services with virtual-community concept

摘要

We aim to improve the reliability with our concept of virtual community, which puts into one group all consumers who need the same or similar Web services. The core of our concept is that the reputation of each web service provider can be transmitted among members of the above-mentioned virtual community; thus a reliable reputation can be quickly gained with lower net resources. Sections 1 and 2 explain in some detail how to improve the reliability of the reputation model. The titles of subsections 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 are respectively direct reputation, recommended reputation and synthesized reputation. The titles of subsections 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 are respectively the model's time characteristic, its resistance against cheating attacks, its performance and consumption of web resources, and the fusion of new nodes. The theoretical analysis shows preliminarily that our improved reputation model can support the quick fusion of new nodes, efficiently compute the reputation of a web service provider and provide considerable resistance against such attacks as identity change, malicious cheating and cooperative cheating.
