abstract = "A novel four-phase flower-shape winding as stator of axial flux permanent-magnet micro-motor is designed and printed on either side of the flexible polyimide-based board to enhance the flux linkage effectiveness. This configuration is compared with the commonly used triangle-shape windings. Numerical calculation shows that the average temperature of the flower-shape winding is reduced by 8% compared with the triangle-shape windings. The corresponding average flux density is increased by 7.14%. This proves effectiveness of the proposed topology to improve stator performance of micro-motor.",
