摘要

In the present study, the turbine endwall cooling performance was investigated using pressure sensitive paint technology. The optimized design of the film hole layout and slot shape were determined to improve the endwall cooling performance. Finally, the modified slot outlet was combined with the optimized film hole layout to achieve a better cooling performance. Results showed that the optimized film hole layout effectively enhanced the endwall cooling performance. Compared with the baseline layout, the excessive cooling on the suction side endwall was suppressed. Secondly, the coolant distribution at the slot outlet was significantly altered with the introduction of the modified outlet slot. Finally, the synergistic structures had little effect on the improvement of endwall cooling effectiveness at low coolant mass flows. The synergistic structures yielded better film cooling performances with high coolant mass flows.
