摘要
Using kerosene as fuel and air as oxidizer, experiments on heat exchanger between detonation tube and fuel were performed on a pulse detonation engine (PDE) with a diameter of 110 mm at different frequencies. It's found that the way of utilizing the waste heat produced by detonation tube can not only increase the temperature of fuel, but also improve PDE's operating performance and shorten the distance of deflagration to detonation transition (DDT). This heat exchanger process could also reduce the temperature of detonation tube. The temperature of detonation tube could decrease by 94°C at the operating frequency of 20 Hz.
