摘要
Effects of α+β forging, near-β forging and β forging on microstructure and mechanical properties of TC17 titanium alloy disks were studied. The results show that α+β forged alloy exhibits equiaxed microstructure, near-β forged alloy shows duplex microstructure, β forged alloy presents basketwave microstructure. Significant effect of the microstructures on mechanical properties of the forged alloy is observed. The alloy with equiaxed microstructure has moderate tensile strength, highest ductility, highest fatigue limit, but lowest value of KIC and poor creep property. Duplex microstructure for the alloy exhibits excellent strength and plasticity, and its creep property is improved evidently, but KIC and fatigue properties are at a low level. Basket-waved microstructure for the alloy has no advantages in tensile strength and plasticity, but its KIC and creep properties are much better than that of the other two microstructure.
