Design of fin buffeting piezoelectric active alleviation system and ground model testing

摘要

Fin buffeting brings fatigue problem to fin structure and jeopardizes fly safety of aircraft. In the present study, ground test of fin buffeting piezoelectric active alleviation under random excitation is implemented. Buffeting principal modal control (BPMC) method for fin buffeting control is proposed and demonstrated, arching PZT actuator (APA) is also tested. Experimental results indicate that using BPMC method with APA, the first peak value of power spectrum density (PSD) function of fin tip buffeting displacement response can be reduced by 94%, and the second and third peak values are reduced by 53% and 85%.
