摘要
The remnant lamellar colonies are the main factor affecting the homogeneity of the deformed microstructure of TiAl alloys. The remnant colonies can be eliminated during hot compression by obtaining a core–shell-like structure. In this study, the deformation behaviors of the core–shell-like structure at different strains are investigated. Due to the different components of the core and the shell, they exhibit different deformation behavior. At small strains, the shell is preferentially broken by dynamic recrystallization of α phases. With increasing strain, the core will be fragmented by recrystallization of α and γ lamellae. In addition, the γ recrystallized grains are gradually dissolved after formation.
