abstract = "Large high frequency current ripple will reduce the lifespan of fuel cell and it is desirable to have low input current ripple for fuel cell system. This paper proposes a current-ripple-free floating interleaved Boost converter (FIBC) for fuel cell applications. A pair of ripple cancellation network consists of a small inductor and a small capacitor are added to conventional FIBC which is utilized to obtain zero-ripple input current. Meanwhile the proposed converter shares the same merits such as high voltage gain and low device stress of the conventional FIBC. Then, the operation principle and steady-state performance of the converter are conducted. Finally, the proposed converter is validated in the MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed can remove the input current ripple completely namely achieving current-ripple-free.",
