Conducted EMI modeling of a three-stage starter/generator system for more electric aircraft

摘要

A detailed conducted EMI prediction model of the three-stage starter/generator is proposed in this paper to analyze the EMI during the starting procedure. The main generator and exciter high-frequency (HF) models are represented by multistage LRC networks. The traditional low-frequency (LF) models in d-q reference and the corresponding control strategies are combined with the HF models through the back EMF, and also the models of the main generator and exciter are connected through the rotating rectifier as well as the common ground. The proposed modeling method has not only better accuracy but also flexibility for conducted EMI analysis at any moment during the starting procedure. Simulation results in Matlab/Simulink have verified the performance of the proposed modeling method.
