Computation research on the solar radiation on the thin film solar cell for high altitude airships

摘要

The calculation model of solar radiation on titled surface has revised so as to be suitable for any obliquity and azimuth of a tilted surface. The curved surface has been partitioned divided into many small planes by grid technique, and the relationship between the normal vector, obliquity and azimuth was deduced. In addition, the solar radiation on each plane was calculated and summed up to obtain solar radiation on the entire curving surface. The solar radiation calculation on a thin film solar cell for a high altitude airship was carried out with this method, the result was compared with the solar radiation on the horizontal projection plane of this thin film solar cell. It shows that replacing solar radiation on a horizontal projection surface with solar radiation on the thin film solar cell leads to large deviation. Therefore, it is necessary to use solar radiation calculation model on curving surface in the detailed analysis of energy system of high altitude airships, which will supply accurate data for photovoltaic conversion calculations and the energy system design.
