An improved NSGA-III Based Unmanned Airborne Conformal Array Beam Pattern Optimization

摘要

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been widely used in various fields recently, and for the selection of the array they carry, the conformal array which is integrated with the body is very suitable. Conformal antenna attached to the surface of the object will not interfere with the carrier's dynamic flow field, while the aperture can cover a large angle and is highly concealed. These features have made the conformal antennas attract a lot of attention in applications such as aircraft and high-speed trains. However, the beam formation of conformal arrays requires solving a complex nonlinear multi-objective optimization problem (MOP). The subproblems involved in such MOPs are often contradictory, and how to obtain the optimal as possible for each subproblem under various constraints is the ultimate goal of this type of problem. In this paper, we propose a geo-metrically structured conformal array beam synthesis algorithm based on the improved NSGA-III algorithm. The experimental results show that the proposed INSGA-III algorithm has better performance relative to other multi-objective algorithms and other adaptive beamforming algorithms in the solution of this problem.
