摘要
An approximate method, named opposite diffusion compensation method, is deduced to evaluate the solute redistribution in directional solidification specimens with limited length. For the determination of solute distribution in the terminal transient region, the first-order opposite diffusion compensation method (FODCM) can be used if δ < 2(L - x0), and the second-order opposite diffusion compensation method (FODCM) has to be adopted for more accurate results if 2(L - x0) < δ.
