摘要

Numerical simulation of aeroelastic analyses for a flexible delta wing at high angle of attack is a hard research. In this work, the aeroelastic analysis of a 70-degree cropped delta wing is studied using a computational aeroelastic solver. The aeroelastic solver couples a Navier-Stokes code with structural motion equations. It's shown that, with the angle of attack increasing, the leading-edge vortices breakdown, and the location moves forward. When vortex breakdown is present over the wing, the unsteady fluctuation characteristics of flow become highly obvious. The external excitation loads exerted on the wing will induce a buffet phenomenon, and has a significant effect on the aeroelastic characteristics of the wing. Before the vortex breakdown, the aeroelastic instability presents itself as just a simple flutter. However, after the vortex breakdown, the aeroelastic phenomenon presents neither a simple flutter, nor a simple buffet, but a complex problem including both flutter and buffet.
