摘要

On the way to their commercial applications for polymer light-emitting diodes, high-performance blue light-emitting diodes are highly desired and yet still remain a materials challenge. This review summarizes the merits and challenges of the most promising blue-light-emitting polymers-polyfluorenes. Especially, the blue color issues have been discussed in detail.
