N2 - In this paper, a three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) based on deep-sea motor thruster is used as an example. Firstly, the mathematical model of PMSM is discussed based on the magnetic field distribution diagram of the motor. Then the speed and current dual-closed-loop control principle is described. Next the algorithm of the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is analyzed. Finally, the whole system is simulated by MATLAB/Simulink simulation software. The simulation results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the control strategy, which provides theoretical support for the design and implementation of the actual system.
