N2 - In complex environments, some routing links in the highly dynamic UAVs Network are not symmetrical. This will cause low success rate of packet delivery and link instability, easy to break, low efficiency of routing repair. To solve those problems, this paper presents an UAV Ad-Hoc Network routing protocol for asymmetric links (AODV-AN). In the process of routing discovery, hop count, comprehensive link quality and link symmetry mark are used as metrics of path quality. By comparing the path quality indicators, the optimal forward route and reverse route are selected. In the process of route maintenance, the HELLO message carries the neighbor node information to monitor the symmetry of the link and repair the disconnected route. Finally, the performance of AODV-AN protocol is simulated and analyzed by OMNET++ simulation tool, and compared with AODV protocol. The experimental shows that the AODV-AN protocol has a higher successful packet delivery rate and a smaller packet transmission delay than the AODV protocol. In the best performance, the packet delivery success rate of UAV Ad-Hoc Network is increased by nearly 10%, and the packet communication delay is reduced by about 8%.
