A novel interference suppression method based on eigenanalysis interference canceler for satellite navigation

摘要

Satellite navigation system receiver is highly susceptible to active suppression jamming, which causes system failure in positioning. Therefore the anti-jamming receiver is an important field of study. Suppressing interference using conventional adaptive beam-forming algorithms will lead to side-lobe level increase in the anti-jamming applications of satellite navigation when there is interference in the array antenna main-lobe. The peak shift and pattern distortion will reduce the output signal to interference plus noise ratio(SINR). This reserch propose a novel interference suppression method based on eigenanalysis interference canceler algorithm and the adaptive pattern control (APC). The proposed method effectively solves the problem of pattern distortion and peak offset while suppressing interference. Simulation experiments show that the proposed method has better capability of suppressing interference than other adaptive beam-forming algorithms. Robustness of adaptive beam-forming is promoted effectively.
