A Load Detection Method in Multi-transmitter Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer Systems without Extra Sensors and Communication

摘要

This paper presents a method to detect the load power at the secondary side through sampling the voltage of the parallel resonant capacitor at the primary side without extra sensors and communications for the discrete-coil type dynamic wireless power transfer system. The proposed method can maintain sensitivity and stability of the load detection when the receiver moves on the lumped primary coil. A discrete-coil type dynamic wireless power transfer system (DWPTS) is built. The effectiveness of the proposed method is well verified in the experiments results with various output power when Po = 0, 3.075W, 7.302W, respectively.
