A domain-adaptive QoS evaluation model for distributed resource

摘要

The accuracy of QoS evaluation is the key to selecting resource from many available ones which provide overlapping or identical functionality for the distributed systems, but current QoS evaluation models evaluate resource only according to common evaluation attributes and, thus, cannot meet the QoS requirement of resource requestors. Aiming at this issue, this paper proposes a Domain-Adaptive QoS Evaluation Model for Distributed Resource called DAQoSE (Domain-Adaptive QoS Evaluation Model), which supports customizing evaluation attributes dynamically. The evaluation of relevant experiments shows that this model gets more accurate evaluation results in comparison with others. This model can be used in distributed resource management system and distributed resource scheduling engine.
