A 0.1-3.4 GHz LNA with Multiple Feedback and Current-Reuse Technique based on 0.13-μm SOI CMOS

摘要

In this paper, a broadband stacked common-source LNA is presented. By employing multiple feedback technique, the LNA expands the bandwidth. Current-reuse technique is also adopted to enhance voltage gain and reduce power consumption. The proposed LNA is implemented in GF 130-nm SOI CMOS technology, the area containing LNA core, SF buffer and pads is 0.72 mm2. From the post simulation results, the LNA shows a peak voltage gain of 18.2 dB, S11/S22 better than -10 dB, minimum NF of 3.4 dB and best IIP3 of -1.46 dBm with a 3-dB working frequency band of 0.1-3.4 GHz. The total power consumption is only 3.3 mW from 1.2 V supply.
