摘要

Blended-Wing-Body (BWB) configuration aircraft is a relatively new concept of aircraft, with the potential use in commercial transport aircraft. Research shows better performance in BWB aircraft than in normal configurations. However, due to various restrictions, BWB aircraft is not suitable for the use of traditional wing-mounted or fuselage-mounted engine layout, preferring the back-mounted engine. However, the back-mounted engine results in some aerodynamic interference problems, such as shock waves, separation, and inlet distortion. The integrated aerodynamic design of engine and fuselage has become the key technology for BWB aircraft development. In this paper, a numerical study is carried out on the aerodynamic interference between the fuselage and the engine of a BWB layout aircraft. The results show that the back-mounted engine has a significant impact on the aerodynamic characteristics of the BWB configuration aircraft and the thrust performance of the engine itself.
