Abstract

ZnO particles were loaded on the surface of aminated P(AA/MMA/GMA)@Fe3O4 composite microspheres (MCM,AA: acrylic acid, MMA was methyl methacrylate, GMA: glycidyl methacrylate) for preparing ZnO@P(AA/ MMA/GMA)@Fe3O4(ZPM) with three-layer structure by guided deposition. The structure and properties of ZPM were analyzed by XRD, SEM, Laser Particle Size Analyzer, TGA and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The results show that the ZPM microspheres are with perfect sphere-shaped morphologies with a saturation magnetization of 8.64 emu·g-1. The average particle size of ZPM microspheres is 1.38 μm and content of ZnO is 13.02%. Photocatalysis of ZPM microspheres was studied using degradation of RhB as a model reaction. Adsorption and degradation efficiency of ZPM are 50.07% and 93.40%.
