Abstract
In this work, the ZnFe2O4/ZnO/Ag semiconductor heterojunction was prepared by hydrothermal method and precipitation method. The phase composition, morphology, electrochemical properties and absorption performance were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS), electrochemical impedance (EIS) and N2 adsorption-desorption instrument, respectively. Photocatalytic experiment confirmed that, under the irradiation of visible light, the RhB solution was almost degraded in 160 min via the ZnFe2O4/ZnO/Ag heterostructure photocatalyst, whose photocatalytic effect was significantly superior than that of ZnFe2O4/ZnO and pure ZnFe2O4. The Langmuir equation model fitting results showed that the ZnFe2O4/ZnO/Ag heterostructure photodegradation of RhB were fitted to the first order kinetics reaction, k=0.018 24 min-1.
