Abstract

In the era of rapid development of avionics, the rise of More-Electric Aircraft (MEA) and All-Electric Aircraft (AEA) has become the necessity of the development of aviation aircraft. This paper presents a weight estimation method of core components of MEA based on the component model, which mainly solves the problems of limitations, complexity, and inaccurate estimation results of existing methods. The weight estimation method adopts the mathematical idea of regression analysis, establishes the linear and nonlinear regression models of aircraft component weight and design parameters, and obtains the weight estimation model with the design parameters of main components as independent variables, and the weight of core components as dependent variables, which is in line with the theory and practice. The results have strong reliability and can provide theoretical help for the later model design.
