Abstract

Based on virtual simulation results, the structural health monitoring (SHM) system for the wing structure was established, which could detect the structural damages. With the FE model of the wing structure in the aerodynamic loads conditions, the response parameters of the wing can be calculated to reveal the damages characteristics. There are obvious differences between damaged wing and normal wing which can be utilized to detect the damages and locate the damaged positions.
