Abstract
The effect of two-step deforming and aging processes on the properties of Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg alloy for lead frame was investigated. The results reveal that the hardness, strength, electrical conductivity and softening temperature of the alloy after two-step deforming and aging can reach 190 HV, 600 MPa, 47. 6 s/m and 560 °C, respectively. The second-phase particles precipitation along the dislocation and pinning effect of precipitates on the dislocation are responsible for the higher strength and electrical conductivity.
