Abstract
Theories related to rotor transient balancing were discussed. The correction plane of field balancing for a micro turbo-jet engine was analyzed and determined. The way to build up a computer aided transient field balancing system and its operation principle were presented. By using the transient field balancing system, a model rotor was balanced, and the balancing precision obtained meets the requirements of international standards.
