Abstract

With the emergence of global markets competition and customized products, collaborative product design combining computer technology has been applied to a certain extent. This paper discusses the background and definition of computer supported collaborative design of products, summed up several typical patterns of co-design according to its main content and basic characteristics and have made an in-depth analysis, finally expatiates on the application and development prospects of computer supported collaborate design products to promote its further use in China.
