Abstract

The progress of digital technique provides a novel idea for the research of air-to-air missile. This paper describes a digital physical simulation platform, which is used for guidance and control system of infrared air-to-air missile. The platform is composed of electronic section, infrared optical-mechanical components and servo components. The electronic section, being simulation platform as hardware, consists of the DSP system, FPGA system and the pin-connection between sections. The infrared optical-mechanical component and the servo component can be employed in our system as physical parts or mathematic models during the testing task. The flexible presence of the infrared optical-mechanical component and the servo component presents multi-mode hardware-in-the-loop simulations for the guidance and control system of infrared air-to-air missile. The digital physical simulation platform designed in paper can present guidance and control system more reality than mathematic models, more flexible than the true guidance and control system, and more high-speed ability to validate algorithms.
