The mathematical and simulation model of countering the acoustic homing torpedo with the acoustic decoy

Abstract

It is one of the important problems of surface warship in underwater defensive warfare, that is how to use the acoustic decoy to counter the acoustic homing torpedo. The mathematical model of countering the acoustic homing torpedo with the acoustic decoy was built up-the model of the maneuvering of the surface warship and the fire parameters of the acoustic decoy for the first time, and then the fire parameters of the acoustic decoy and survival capability of the surface warship were simulated and calculated, and the simulated data was analyzed. The conclusions have important value for the use of the equipment in combat.
