Abstract

The Internet of Things (IOT) is a complex system. If there is no intensive study from the system point of view, it will be hard to understand and master the intrinsic features and key technologies of IOT. The infrastructure features of IOT are analyzed in the view of public IOT. A concept model of IOT is proposed in the view of converging Cyber world and physical world, and it discusses the key technologies of IOT which consists of information materials, cyber-physical systems and physical-cyber systems. The architecture of IOT is proposed in the three dimensions of things, networks, and applications, and the internal features of IOT are explored which is composed of information things, autonomous networks and intelligent applications. It is suggested that IOT projects in the long term should focus on the research and development of the infrastructure systems and technologies of IOT.
