Abstract

To classify and identify the component of abandoned shells, a design method of using ultrasonic to detect artillery shells' internal component based on data fusion method is presented. Firstly, ultrasonic detector is used to collect the sample data of internal component of a large number of artillery shells. Secondly, using data fusion techniques to set up neural network fusion model for data processing and feature extraction, such as the first wave amplitude, frequency, and eventually realizing the identification of shells. Experiments showed that the method is accurate and reliable.
