Abstract

The flight simulator interface system communication network should meet requirements of determinism, real-Time and reliability. This paper analyses the real-Time problem of CAN-Bus with its application in flight simulator interface system. And on the basis of basic CAN protocol, an improving method for CANBus is proposed. The method divides the extended frame with CAN 2.0B into priority class subfield, queue position subfield and message filtering subfield. Through the design of system-wide priority queues and cyclical priority scheduling algorithm, the problem of message blockage caused by the CAN stochastic multi-master sending message mode is solved. Tests in the flight simulator interface system show that the improved CAN-Bus with above method has good real-Time performance in heavy network load. Copyright
