Abstract

The cab suspension system plays an important role in vehicle ride performance. In order to fully assess the ride comfort characteristics of a heavy vehicle with three different structures of cab suspension system, Road tests under various conditions were carried out. And the vibration characteristics of the three different structures of cab suspension system using front hydraulic and rear airbag with single height valve, 4-point airbag with single height valve and 4-point airbag with double height valve control were respectively analyzed. In additional, the test data was processed in frequency domain. The results show that the ride comfort of the cab suspension system of 4-point airbag with double height valve control is better than that of the other two cab suspensions.
